For Chris' birthday last year, which is October 12th, I bought him an over night stay at a bed and breakfast in Bear Lake. Because I bought this as a deal on KSL, there was a stipulation that it had to be used by March 31st...........no problem, right? Well, for us it was. It seemed like we had something on almost every weekend or would be gone doing something else and didn't want to miss that much church since we teach Sunday school. We finally booked it for March 31st and were excited to go over conference weekend, until the weather report came that is. They were supposed to get quite a bit of snow the morning we were supposed to come home and Chris just didn't want to chance driving up there. We thought for sure we were going to lose the coupon becuase it was the last weekend but we were ok with it because we would rather be safe, but I emailed the resort and the lady was so understanding and let us extend it to the end of May. That was so sweet. Last weekend we went and had a very nice and relaxing weekend!!
This is the bed and breakfast we stayed at, The Inn and Snow Meadows. It was really nice and all the rooms are themed. We stayed in the Bohemian Suite. The only thing that was kind of annoying was that you could hear EVERYTHING when you were in your room. The main floor had vaulted celings to the second floor so we could hear everything that was going on downstairs. It made me feel like home becuase of how loud mom is when she wakes up before everyone else!!
We were laughing in this picture becuase after I set the timer on the camera, I came to sit on Chris and must have been a little aggressice because we thought the chair was going to break. Oops!
