Not swinging at the park..

I was so excited last week when the weather was warmer and we were able to go out almost everyday. It was AWESOME! I am so excited for Spring and Summer, it's not even funny. The first day it was warmer, Chase and I went out for a walk and if anyone knows my son, they know that he has never been a lover of walks. Well, I am pleased to announce that we had an almost carry-free walk. We walked to the park and went around the fields twice and then home and it wasn't until we got to our street that he was over it and I had to pick him up. My friend Alison would know that this is a huge accomplishment for us!! We went to the park that day but there were too many people at the swings and it was really windy so we didn't want to wait. So the next day we had a picnic at the park with a bunch of girls from my ward and their kids, and tried the swing then. He was NOT a fan. He cried as soon as I started pushing him and from then on he would cry if I even acted like I was going to put him in it. I tried the next day too when we went down to Orem to have a picnic with Clara and Elleny. We tried to show him how much fun it could be by having him watch Clara but he didn't get the memo, he still hated it. I better wait awhile before I try again so he doesn't have a bad association with the swings.

 

But, I was able to snap a pic of him before I started pushing and before he realized he hated swinging!!

 

In case you are wondering what he is looking at, there were kids playing on the playground and we all know how he loves to stare at people!! :)
