October in a nutshell

October was a fun month, we loved getting ready for Halloween and enjoying Fall. We went to Gardner Village to see the witches. It wasn't witched night out so they weren't walking around but it was still fun. Chase, as always, wasn't in the mood for pictures, but we really tried.

Gwen bought pumpkins for Chase and Cole and I made Taco soup one night while we carved pumpkins. She also bought eye balls and bloody fingers to really set the mood. Chase wasn't really into carving and didn't want to touch the inside of the pumpkin at all, but Chris had fun carving it!

 

I can't believe I didn't get a picture of the finished product!

 

We had a couple play dates with some friends this month as well. My friend Cammy had a day off of work so we met her and her son Collin at a park for lunch one day. The boys had fun playing with the wood chips at the park and we were attacked by bees. It was nuts! I hate bees more than anything, it was my worst nightmare. I only have one picture of them playing though.

 

 

We met some friends at Wheeler farm for lunch. We saw all the animals and the ducks and geese were out of control that day, they were everywhere! Chase was a little unsure what to do when the geese started coming up to him in the stroller.

 

 

 

We went to Heidi's work on Halloween so we could see her as well and Elleny, Clara and Quincy. We weren't there long but it was fun to see everyone in their cute costumes.

 

 

 

After we left Heidi's work we hurried and got lunch and came home so Chase could take a nap so we could go on to the next event. After Chase woke up, we went to my work. They go all out and decorate, have a haunted house and the kids can trick or treat around the office. They also have someone there to take pictures. I look like weirdie weirderton but Chase looks really cute!

 

 

We also went to St. George for Natalie's wedding which was a lot of fun. Chase did great in the car and we loved spending time with family. I didn't really get many pic but here are e a couple of Chase.

 

Grandma was holding him on the chair and he tried to get down and got stuck in the little hole between the foot rest, his feet were just dangling.

 

 

We tried finding a place to eat after we left the reception and because there was a wait at the place we wanted to go, we ended up going to Bucca Da Beppo, which was not good at all! But, Chase had fun playing in the rocks!

 

 

We also went to the pumpkin patch with Heidi one day. It was so busy but they had a corn maze, a petting zoo and a live band. Chase was dancing to the music, it was so cute!
