As long as I can remember, everytime I thought about having kids, I always wanted a boy first. I don't know if it's because I had an older brother or if I thought it would be nice to have a protector for the other, but that was always my dream.....until Clara came that is. When I first found out I was pregnant all I could think about was how awesome it would be to have a girl so her and Clara could be best friends and play together. I was convinced I was having a girl Chris, on the other hand, was certain that it was a boy. It became a matter of who was right and who was wrong. The closer we got to January 12th (the day of the ultrasound) I became more and more unconfident in my thinking it was a girl. I'm not sure if I was tryng to prep myself for the fact that it may be a boy or if it was my "motherly instinct" telling me it wasn't a girl.
Well.........Chris won that bet because it is a BOY!!!!
This picture was taken towards the end of the ultrasound and I think he was getting tired of us looking at him for so long. He sure is cute!
After finding out he was a boy, I've never looked back, we couldn't be more happy to be having a little boy. I was never the barbie or doll type anyway, I would rather play in the dirt and now I have that chance!
