One month old already!

I am hitting myself becuase I haven't taken Chase in to get his pictures taken yet. I want to get them done when he is a newborn, I still have time right? I feel like he is growing up too fast already. Anyway, although I do want to get professional pictures taken I don't want to get them done every month so I am going to take them myself. My friend Julie had the brilliant idea of making a cute number and using it in the picture so that's what I did. I think it turned out great!

Last week we took Chase to the Dr because he had been extra fussy and his voice has been hoarse for a week or so.They told us he has silent reflux and put him on Zantac and it has helped a ton. His voice is almost better and he isn't nearly as fussy, I have my little baby back!

He also weighed 9 lbs 2 oz. at his doctor's appointment but is still wearing newborn clothes and diapers. We've put him in a couple 0-3 month pj's at night and they are huge so it seems that newborn clothes are still in our future.

He's starting to coo and talk a lot more and right when he wakes up from a nap or in the morning, he is so smiley. We got a video of Chris talking to him the other night that I'll post later which is so cute.

We finally got Chase to take naps in his bassinet after a couple of long days but it was well worth it. He now has two long naps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, lasting anywhere from 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours. He also has a few cat naps throughout the day. Needless to say, this kid sleeps well!!
