2 months old!

Chase turned two months old last week so here are his two month pictures. I just took them yesterday which is why I haven't posted anything yet, plus he went to the doctor so I wanted to be able to post his current stats.

He had to get three shots today so I have been dreading this day for a long time but he did surprisingly well. He was tired when we got there because it was his nap time so he was a little fussy which scared me even more, When it came time for the shots, he cried when they gave them (which they did really fast) but he stopped as soon as I picked him up and never cried again. I was so proud of him!  He slept a lot when we got home but didn't seem to have any other symptoms that I could tell. We gave him tylenol before he went to bed so I hope he sleeps well tonight. .

He was so happy this morning before we went to the doctor, too bad he had to get shots.

Fortunately, he was just as happy when we got home and he had a good nap!

At two months old, Chse weighs 11.7 lbs and is 22.1 inches long. He's definitely gaining weight more than he is growing in length. He is in the 10th percentil in height, 25th percentile in weight and his head is in the 75th percentile. So, he's probably not going to be a basketball player! :-)

The doctor said he should start talking and sucking on his hands and he has been doing both of those for awhile now so that is really good. The doctor also said that we need to start making sure he is sleeping on his left side and holding him in our right arms because the right side of his head is kind of flat. Oops! I actually told Chris last week that I thought it looked flat but we didn't think anything of it. It sure is hard to hold him in the opposite arm though!

Everything else looked great, he is growing at a healthy rate and as cute as ever . (my words, not the docs!)
