Our flight was right around lunch time so we got through security, which was a little rough because my license was expired, then hit McD's for some lunch. (Chris' fave)
One of the things I love the most about Missouri are the beautiful trees. I seriously love them so much. Chris was making fun of me because I couldn't get enough of them.
We left Chase for a night and went to Branson for a nice little getaway! It was a lot of fun. We went to the Price is Right show which was one of Chris' dreams. Funny story about that, the very first name they called to go up to bidding row was "Chris Spardle", which sounds a lot like Chris Wardle. Well I turned to Chris and said that his name was called and he went up screaming and high fiving everyone on the way just to find out that it wasn't his name that they called afterall. He had to do the walk of shame back to his seat. It was a lot of fun, even if they didn't give away very many prizes and we didn't get to play.
Chase had a lot of fun with Uncle Matt and Grandma and Grandpa, here are a few pics we got while we were in Branson.
Mom and dad bought a little swimming pool that was the perfect size for Chase. It wasn't too hot when we were there actually but it was still refreshing to get in the water. Chased LOVED the pool, it was so cute to see him in there, although he did try to drink the water and swallow some a couple times.
The missionaries came over one night and before they left they sang us a song, it was cute to watch Chase watch them sing.
You can't tell Chase had Lasagna for dinner can you??
The flight back was nothing less than miserable for all of us. I think Chase slept a total of 15 minutes the whole way home but was exhausted. Once we landed and got in the car, he was out in no time at all. When we got home and were changing him into his pj's he was drinking his bottle, still asleep! So glad to be home......little did he know, we would be moving in just a few days!!
