I thought I would update this month since we went to the doctor and have some new stats. Chase is still a little one, weighing in at 20.2 lbs. (15) and measuring 30 inches (10%). He has moved up in percentiles since his last appointment, so we're happy about that. This appointment was a little more dramatic than the previous one. He had to get four shots and as soon as they laid him down, he started crying, so I knew he was going to have a hard time..........and he did. He cried for a few minutes and was fine. Afterwards we went and saw our house, got some lunch and then went home and put Chase down for a nap. All was well until Chase woke up from his nap. It was the saddest thing ever. He was in so much pain. His legs hurt him so bad that he didn't even want to walk or stand up and when he did he would just cry. He just cried if I wasn't holding him, it was so unlike him. I did get some really good snuggles though.
I put in Despicable Me and he sat with me for about 30 minutes and watched it.
These pictures were taken after dinner. I stood Chase up and he had a slight meltdown. It was really sad to see him hurting so badly, but it was also kind of humorous to me for some reason.
f there was something to lean on, he would. He was very sluggish for a couple days and laid around more than he ever has.
He woke up two days later and was back to normal! Thank goodness!! He's back to never stopping and always going!
