So, we sold our house in June and signed on June 16th with Alpine Homes to build a house. There was a slight delay with the purchase of the land, but once that was figured out they submitted our permits and we just waited. Well.....last week they finally were able to pull permits to start on our house! They dug the hole on Thursday and poured the foundation on Friday! Chris was out of town most of the week and Chase and I drove out to the house everyday. It was a lot of driving, but we were just so excited! I'm really hoping we will be in by Christmas. That's all I want!

This was the next day after they ha taken the boards down. It's finally seems real now that we can see some actual progress.
