The first few months home

My mom was here for about 5 weeks and most of that time was spent in the hospital, which was a huge help to us. She was there for a few days after Ava came home and then had to leave. We really missed her when she was gone. Once she left, Gwen came over for about a week which was also a really big help. We were blessed with a really great family and so many helping hands which we could not be more grateful for.

She might kill me for adding this photo!
I've always heard that you don't take as many photos of your 2nd child as you do your 1st but looking through pictures for this blog I've realized that is not the case....at ALL!

Chris had to go out of town in February when the girls were almost two months old. I knew I could handle it during the day but I was worried about night because the feeding process took such a long time so I was afraid I wouldn't get any sleep. Well, my aunt LaRene so graciously came up from St. George to stay with me and help. It was such a great help!

LaRene left the morning of Valentine's Day and Michael and Abby were so nice to come over and watch the girls so we could go out. Their first V-Day as a married couple and they spent it watching our kids. Pretty awesome if you ask me! They also bought them these really cute onesies and did a little photo shoot.

#CUTIE
Because I took so long to write this, I don't remember specific details like I wish I did but I do have a lot of really cute pictures!

When we were waking up every three hours during the night it seemed like forever, but in reality it was such a short amount of time. These girls have been sleeping all night long since they were 4 months old. Thankfully they also sleep in longer than Chase ever has which is really nice. They also sleep through each other's cries so while one is screaming, the other is snoozing away without a care in the world.

Having twins is very time consuming and a lot of work but I can honestly say that the first several months of their lives was SO much easier than the first few months of Chase's life. Chase was so much harder than these two babies are. We are so blessed to have such laid back little babies that are so good. Thank goodness....that's all I have to say!
