Gardner Village and Thanksgiving Point

Last week a couple of the girls in my ward and I all took our kiddos to Gardner Village. You never know how Chase is going to react on outings but he did great. He doesn't love being in the stroller lately so I brought the snugli and he sat in that the whole time, I was so proud of him. We were there for almost two hours ans when we got home he took a two hour nap...it must have worn him out!

The next day, Elleny and I thought it would be fun to take Chase and Clara to Thanksgiving Point because they have a petting zoo and hay ride. I brought the snugli and assumed that Chase would just chill in that like he did the previous day......boy was I wrong! He did ok for an hour or so but then he had a major meltdown and was NOT having it. He was tired so all he had to do was relax and fall asleep but he just screamed so we had to abort early. As soon as we got in the car and I had it in drive, he was fast asleep. Oh well, I guess I can't expect him to be good on every outing we take. I'll take one a week! We still had fun but I feel bad that Clara didn't get her hay ride.

 

We were able to snatch a couple pics of the kids and these pumpkins even though they were not having it, but at least we got em!
