Rolling over and rice cereal

Last week Chase was so close to rolling over from his back to his stomach and would be on his side all the time trying but for the life of him he couldn't get over that arm. I recorded him several times because I thought he was going to do it, but never did. As soon as I put my phone down one day he did it! Of course I wasn't able to catch him doing it the firsrt time but it wasn't long before he was a pro. Chris was out of town so I wanted to get it on video so he could see it and that was the only motivation Chase needed.

Well, I have a video of Chase rolling over but for some reason I can't get it to work. I download it but you can only hear the audio, there is no picture. So, stay tuned, I'll figure it out eventually!

 

Now that Chase can roll over, it's his favorite thing to do. He is CONSTANTLY rolling. He rolls to get things, and he rolls in the middle of the night and as soon as he wakes up. He gets himself into some of the craziest predicaments.

 

He rolled over three times to get to the TV stand and as soon as I snapped this picture, he knocked over the DVD's.

This is how we find Chase every morning now.

 

 

He's not content just playing on his mat anymore, he's moved on to bigger and better things.

 

 

I can't believe that so much can happen in one week. He can't roll one day, he can barely do it the next and the day after that he's rolling all over the place. He's growing up way too fast.

 

We also started Chase on rice cereal this week and he loved it! He ate it like he had been eating with a spoon for ages and seemed to really like it. Of course we made a mess of it, but I think he really enjoys it. We also have a video of him eating but I'll have to figure out why it's not working and upload it later. So proud of our big boy!
